A vegetable served in loaf form is never a good idea.

Lunch menu today at work:

Meat Loaf
Lentil Loaf
Roasted Potatoes
Asparagus
Tossed Salad

Lunch here always has a vegetarian option. I am not a vegetarian, but I’m not a huge fan of meat loaf either, so I decided to go with the plant-based version.

I have learned my lesson. Lentils, or any other vegetable, should not be served as a loaf. I don’t even think meat should be served as a loaf. For everyone’s benefit, let’s leave the loaf in the domain of the grains.
