An open letter to Santa Fe Community College:

Dear SFCC,

I am confused by your recent administrative decision. When you offer an Intermediate French class, and eight people sign up, why do you cancel it? Because there aren’t enough people? Let me tell you, French is not very popular here in New Mexico, so eight people buying Sur Le Vif was quite an accomplishment.

So you tell students to take the Advanced Beginning French class instead, now with a total of 13 people (yes, it should have been cancelled since it only had five students to begin with), and then you cancel this class. You say the students will take other classes instead. This student will not. I wanted to work on my French skills, and Intro to Forensic Science is not French, merci beaucoup.

Je suis frustré et dégoûté.
